
Peace & Quiet vs Obsession – obsession with people, places, thoughts, patterns, the past, old stories we’re telling ourselves desperately trying to still believe in, outdated or untrue beliefs and versions of ourselves or others, obsession with thinking, doing, achieving, being right, proving, convincing, explaining, judging, labeling, denying, lying, escaping.
We all do it at times. Some of us more often than others, some of us more often than not. It’s actually more «normal» than not.
So what about letting ourselves be aware of it, this kind of «crazy», and rather feel what we feel all the way through – and let it go… We don’t HAVE TO be crazily unaware all the time and in denial of what is our inner reality, our deepest truth, our true feelings. We are so welcome to wake up, be with what is our inner state right now and let it transform us. If honesty is a value of ours, let’s remember that we can only be honest with other people to the degree we’re willling and brave enough to be honest with ourselves.
To FEEL what we feel (not THINK about or name it!) is not dangerous – the opposite is. When we FEEL it, it will release and transform. It’s when we intellectualize it, supress it, cling to it by trying not to feel it, or not to talk about it, or talk more than we FEEL it, it becomes «dangerous» and will stay with us, create suffering, limit us and give us the notion of stuck.
By FEELING what we feel right now in this present moment, we let ourselves go with the FLOW – the flow of Life.
Presence is the key to be free. Peace, freedom, presence, evolvement, is not about feeling happy all the time, but having the courage to see, be with and FEEL whatever the present contains within us without judging or escaping. When allowing the present moment to be what it is, without resistance, we allow what is to transform. And more often than not; it’s for (what we often tend to label as) the better.
